Liz Marr unfortunately lost her Carly at just over 12 years old out of our B litter to complications after her spay. 

Honor X Never puppies were confirmed by ultrasound!

We have puppies due Never x Honor! Never is our import from the Netherlands and Honor is a Cowboy granddaughter that we leased from Debra & Mike Allen and Keri Campbell for this breeding.

Sadly, Clarice and Bill lost Cheri (has a gazillion agility titles) at the end of July at a little over 12 years old who was out our B litter. She passed peacefully in her bed with Clarice and Bill by her side.

"Never" went WD/BOW on Friday for 2 points and WD/BOW Saturday for a 4 point major to finish his CHAMPIONSHIP! He is now CH Traxa's Forget Me Not

Shelia and Lucy (CH Paisano Saw Ewe Lookin HSA) ventured out into the Novice B obedience ring for the very first time and earned 1st place with a respective score of 190 for their first leg toward Lucy's CD!

Cowboy (CH Paisano Bullseye PT) BEST IN VETERAN  in the classes as well as receiving an AOM under Susan Quesnel. His daughter, Robyn went BOS.  (Traxa's Forget Me Not) went RWD

In Sweeps ,under Patty Biggins - 
Cowboy took 1st in  the 10+ class in Veteran Sweeps . 
Never went  BOCowboy took 1st in  the 10+ class in Veteran Sweeps . 
Never went  BOSS   

On Sauturday, 8/23, under all breed judge 
Cowboy (CH Paisano Bullseye PT) took 1st in the Veterans 10+ class and Never (Traxa's Forget Me Not) took RWD. 

In Sweeps, under breeder/judge, Jill MIller - 
Cowboy took 1st in  the 10+ class in Veteran Sweeps .

Sadly, Ann Emigh had to say goodbye to Jamie aka HeartStrings Amadues (out of Tommy x Faith) He was 17 years old and 1 month. He's pictured above on the far left with his nephew, Robby,who's still doing well at 11 years old and his half sister, Briea who Ann lost in the fall of 2013 at 14 years old. What a great life they've all had hiking through the hills of Colorado!

On Saturday Paisano Caught you looking  (Lucy) , won WB for a 4 point MAJOR at the Puyallup/Tacoma Cluster and 1/2 sister Dina  aka Klaar Devilish Delight took RWB.  Cowboy's (Ch Paisano;Bullseye PT ) daughter, Ch SkyAcres Diamond Lil (Gem) earned a SELECT.

 On Sunday,  Klaar Devilish Delight (Dina) took  WB for a 3 point MAJOR! Thank-you to Nancy McClure who showed her in the classes and Huge Thank-you to Sheila Retherford for piloting her to WB  for Norma.Schnars. Congrats also to Soni Jeager for  Cowboy's daughter  Gem, earning another select.

Tommy received his C-BAR. He earned it in 2006 but I just hadn't gotten around to do all the paperwork.

At just under 2 yrs old, Paisano Caught Ewe Looking aka "Lucy" took a Group III from the open class at the all breed Renaissance  Dog Association in Canada for a 5 point major

Paisano Caught Ewe Looking aka "Lucy" took 3rd place in the competitive open bitch class at the Canadian Nat'l under  breeder/judge Pauline Stern-Hanf. 

At her very first show, "Finesse" de la Tyvell took  2nd place in the competitive open bitch class at the Canadian Nat'l under breeder/judge Pauline Stern-Hanf and "Cowboy" took 2nd place in the bred-by class.

Gabby  strutted her self to BEST IN VETERAN SWEEPS at the ABTC Regional under breeder/judge Eileen Hudak. At the all breed show the same weekend,  Cowboy was awarded BEST OF WINNERS for a 4 point major under Chris Walkowicz.

Cowboy took 2nd place in a very competitive bred-by class at the ABTC 2007 National under Karen Johnson. Bena,  in the company of some beautiful bitches, made the first cut in the specials ring despite having no coat and Dina placed third in the Novice class.

Canada  Cowboy came home with WINNERS DOG for 1 point.  Dina came home with two RESERVE WINNERS BITCHES. Most exciting was seeing  Oso handled by his owner, Sheila Retherford,  take WINNERS DOG for a 2 pt major on Saturday  and WINNERS DOG / BEST OF WINNERS/BEST OF BREED on Sunday for an another 2 pt major  to finish his Canadian CHAMPIONSHIP undefeated with 4 majors!

Canada under Walter Pinsker and  Mr Harry Tast  from Finland.  Not  to be outdone, his aunt  Dina  (Klaar Devilish Delight) strutted herself to  BEST OF WINNERS  at her first shows from the 12-18 mo classes  for TWO  2 point MAJORS!

At the 2005 Canadian National Specialty, under european breeder/judge, Jean Lawlwss of Revloch kennels, Paisano Bullseye aka "Cowboy" and his sister Paisano Bienaventurada aka "Bena" (handled by her co-owner, Liz Marr) placed  1st  in their 12-18 mo class.  Nuendo HeartStrings Hermoso PT aka "Oso", handled by his owner, Shelia Retherford, was awarded Winners Dog for 5 points . Tommy ventured out as a Veteran and took 1st in his class and was awarded an Award of Merit.  

March/April 2005 
At the 2005 ABTC National Specialty, from the regular classes Cowboy (Paisano Bullsye), placed 1st in the 12-18 mo classes under breeder/judge Edeltraud Laurinlittermates.  In Sweeps under  breeder/judge Debby Boehm, Cowboy (Paisano Bullsye) placed 3rd in 15-18 mo  and his sister, Bena (Paisano Bienaventurada),  placed 2nd.

March 2005
Dan certified Gabby in Cadaver with King County Sheriff's Search and Rescue. This is her 2nd dicipline in Search and Rescue - Wilderness air scent being her first.

We've changed our kennel name from HeartStrings to Paisano (pronounced pi-za-no) which is Italian for buddy, pal or friend. We had the HeartStrings name for almost 14 years but decided it was time for a change when we had a difficult  time registering  our Canadian born puppies due to someone else that had registered the HeartStrings name a few years ago with CKC.

U-BIS CAN Ch Serack's Arlequin Glamour Girl aka "Gabby" was bred to Maigret de la Tange Morgane. Puppies are due New Years Day 2004.

At the Evergreen Belgian Tervuren Regional Speciality, breeder/judge Debbie Dawe awarded Tommy (UKC/CKC/AKC Select CH Bergerac Brigadoon PT,TT) with an Award of Merit.

At the  ABTC 2002 National held in Silverdale, WA.  Tommy was awarded a Select by breeder/judge Sharon Redmer.  Gabby, his  daughter, was pulled in the VERY large open bitch class,  Alli placed 3rd in the 9-12 month class and my good friend Melissa Houston expertly handled Faith (at 12 years old)  in a very large veteran bitch class.  She didn't make the cut but she enjoyed  being out again.

At the Auld Lang Society Shows in Cloverdale, B.C., Gabby (UKC all breed BIS Serack's Arlequin Glamour Girl PT, CGC) was awarded BEST OF WINNERS and  BEST OF OPPOSITE for 3 points.

July 2001 
At the all-breed UKC Puget Sound K-9 Shows, Gabby (Serack's Arlequin Glamour Girl PT, CGC) was rated excellent and went BEST OF WINNERS and BEST OF BREED under breeder/judge Leslie Earl. She then went on to win  BEST IN SHOW under Thomas Tracy.  The following day she took RESERVE BEST FEMALE under breeder/judge Sonja Ostrom. 
Tommy (New UKC/AKC/CKC CH Bergerac Brigadoon PT, TT) was rated excellent and went Best Tervuren Male and RESERVE BEST MALE under breeder/judge Leslie Earl  to finish his UKC Championship. 

August 2000
At the all breed Lake Sammamish Kennel Club show Gabby (Serack's Arlequin Glamour Girl PT, CGC) took WB/BOS.

August 2000     

At the Alberta Belgian Shepherd Dog Club Tommy (AM/CAN CH Bergerac Brigadoon PT) was rated excellent  and placed First in Veterans under breeder/judge Russ Beach and also passed the temperament test.  Gabby (Serack's Arlequin Glamour Girl PT) took 2nd in Junior Females and was  rated excellent. The following day, with an entry close to 60 Belgians,  Tommy was rated excellent plus and went BEST OF WINNERS  and BEST OF BREED under breeder/judge Alleyne Dickens from the veterans class.  Gabby, also rated excellent plus, went RESERVE BEST FEMALE.


July 2000

At the UKC all breed Puget Sound K-9 show, Tommy (AM/CAN Ch Bergerac Brigadoon PT) was rated excellent plus and went BEST MALE from the veterans class under breeder/judge Christine Reed. The following day under breeder/judge Dermott Young, he again was rated excellent plus and went BEST OF WINNERS and BEST OF BREED.  His daughter Gabby was rated excellent plus and went BEST FEMALE from the junior class
